Grado 16 - Social Cooperative

Grado 16 recognizes that within the family there is an environment of loving relations, both personal and social; within this environment it is possible and important to promote the development of good role models for well-being and personal growth.

Moreover, we believe that the family should be valued and supported for its part in the social climate of the community. It is through the family that needs are revealed; at the same time the family is also important for its unique ability to disburse and share resources, capabilities, useful informations within the local community. Furthermore, it is within this most private of groups and its interaction with the local community that the instruments for positive change exist in innovative and sustainable ways.

From this point of view, the various services and projects regarding young children, youths, parents and other adults may promote the activation of resources available coming out from the family, the community, the institutions and the network of relatives.

Grado 16 realizes its interventions in different districts of greater Milan; in Milan the Children’s Center Oplà (Centro per l’Infanzia Spazio Oplà) is an important resource for families with children between the ages of birth to five years old.
