Grado 16 - Social Cooperative

Social Cooperative Grado 16 has worked for many years in the development of European programs for youths, particularly in the area of the Youth Program, an EU initiative which promotes projects involving the informal education of all European youth (European voluntary service, youth exchanges, youth initiatives etc.).

Since 1999 the cooperative has been part of the Eurodesk network, providing information about European Union’s programs for youth.

Since 2004 the cooperative has been a part of the Y.E.S. Forum (Youth and European Social Work), reinforcing civil dialogue and working to prevent the marginalization of European youth.

The transnational work and the development of partnership with European organizations is of particular importance to the cooperative: it provides an opportunity for the exchange of ideas for practical methods, innovative development and novel models for positive action, even at the local level.
