Grado 16 - Social Cooperative

C.G.M. – (National Consortium Gino Mattarelli) – Since 1994 Grado 16 has collaborated in the realization and coordination of formative, consulting, and planning activities together with the largest national network for social work.

Consorzio S.I.S. – (Social Work System Consortium) – For years the cooperative has been associated with S.I.S., making use of its services and in the meanwhile participating in its development with its network of competent planners, formation and consulting.

Libera Compagnia di Arti e Mestieri Sociali - (Free Company of Arts and Social Works) – Since May 2002 Grado 16 has collaborated in the planning and management of educational interventions, youth activities and promotion in the neighborhoods of District 7 (Rozzano, Basiglio, the community of Triulzi and Opera).

AGEHA - (Association of Parents of the Handicapped) – In Rozzano, Grado 16 collaborates with AGEHA to promote initiatives to bring about the complete integration of differently abled youth in the area.

Eurodesk – since 1999 Grado 16 has participated with Eurodesk – a European network for information and orientation on the social programs promoted by the European Union and the European Council for youth

Y.E.S. Forum - (Youth and European Social Work) – Since 2004 Grado 16 has been a partner in the European labor network for the reinforcement of civil dialogue and the prevention of marginalization of European youth.

Associazione Cantieri Isola – (“Cantieri Isola” Association) – For years the cooperative has joined in the battle to re-qualify the local craftsmen’s building (www.lastecca.org) and the two gardens of Milan’s Via Confalonieri, working to maintain contact between the neighborhood and the city. Grado 16’s part in the collaboration has been to organize and maintain Isola’s youth projects in order to promote their active participation and citizenship.

Opera Don Guanella – Since 2000, Grado 16 has participated in the realization of “Progetto per l’Accoglienza, la Crescita e l’Educazione” (The Gathering, Growing and Education Project), finalizing the development within zones 8 and 9 of educative initiatives favoring children and families at the Centro San Gaetano, Via Mac Mahon 92 in Milan. Grado 16 has managed Spazio Oplà, the Children’s Center that is an important resource for families with children between the ages of birth to five years old.

Associazione Familiarmente – (The Families Association) – The association was born in 2004 on the initiative of a parents group who came together through the “Tempo per le Famiglie Oplà” (Quality Time Service), to promote the development of families in their educative and social roles. In collaboration with Grado 16, the association has realized group encounters, fun activities and cultural events, addressed to families and the neighborhood.

COMIN – Social Solidarity Cooperative – Started in 1975 in Milan and the province to promote and organize interventions for children and families. The cooperative offers helpful opportunities for families in grave difficulties and contributes to the development of a social environment that is more mature, attentive and sensitive to the needs and rights of the youngest in our communities. Our collaborations come out from sharing cultural references and methodologies.

Associazione Orientamento Lavoro Onlus - (The Non-Profit Work Orientation Association) Born in 1986, the association has introduced in Italy the practice of orientation using the Retravailler method. The association runs gender interventions and projects and works for the promotion of equal opportunity for women in the society and in the workplace. With the collaboration of Grado 16, the association has brought about the development of orientational interventions to introduce the theme of equal opportunity in social enterprises and realized support initiatives and accompanying female entrepreneurship.

Teseo – Type B Social Cooperative – Conceived with the substantial support of Grado 16, Teseo works to socially integrate people in work-release programs. Grado 16 collaborates to realize projects to support families of prisoners and detainees and to organize jailhouse volunteers.
